Day 21 & Beyond - Home Again

Every house where love abides
And friendship
 is a guest,
Is surely home, and home sweet home
For there the heart can rest.
~Henry Van Dyke

As much as we relished our days & times in Dublin, by day 20 we were eager to pack, and even more eager to make our journey homeward.  Besides all the dirty laundry, packing included the myriad new memories made on our monumental meander.

It's taking some discipline to re-order our internal time clocks.  Sleeping is off-kilter, and befuddled is an apt description of the brain's condition.  International travel does entail a price beyond dollars.

That said, I am overjoyed to rediscover the joys of home - - not the least of which is this year's Indian Summer: a Fall quite unlike any we've seen in many, many years.  Beautiful, and rivaling those we discovered in Germany, Austria, Scotland and Ireland!

The light is what guides you home,
the warmth is what keeps you there.

Hi, I loved seeing your pic's of Dublin on FB; I do hope someday to get there, just not sure when. Welcome home; I know it will take several days to recover from the time difference. Hope you enjoy autumn in your area; it is so cold here today that all I want to do is stay inside.
Hugs, Noreen

Home is a wonderful place to walk into. Welcome home! I smiled as I read that you found your brain to be befuddled. At least you have an excuse for it happening:)

What a beautiful fall picture! And how very wonderful that you got to come home to such great beauty after traveling abroad. There are miracles of nature everywhere we look!

Welcome home! I too love to come home. Safely God led you through many miles, and we were blessed to share in a bit of it. The picture is beautiful!
